The cross-docking hub provides efficient circulation and handling space for intensive operational use.

Parcels arrive from local depots and airports through 49 loading docks on one side of the building. Mechanical handling systems then sort them for distribution through 50 loading docks on the opposite side.

The project used specialist procurement methods to support an accelerated delivery programme.
