Planning Application Granted in Bicester Eco Town

Planning consent has been secured for the reserved matters planning application for a new employment development located within the North West Bicester Eco Town. Cornish Architects has been appointed by Albion Land for the first phase of development comprised of 12 commercial / industrial units totaling 232,328sf GIA.

The development offers new employment opportunities and the delivery of high quality infrastructure. It will adopt sustainable construction and operational methods, with the target of achieving BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.

The scheme will also achieve zero carbon emissions as defined in Cherwell District Council’s adopted SPD and Policy Bicester 1. The definition of zero carbon is that over a year, the net carbon dioxide emissions from all energy use within the buildings on the development as a whole are zero or below.
